Characters
DANIEL– Man, 25-35, Black. Was not expecting his freewheeling “friends with benefits” situationship to turn into becoming the only surviving parent to an extremely premature baby facing an extended hospital stay. Overwhelmed is a bit of an understatement. Driven by decency and compassion for his premie daughter, he pushes through is inexperience, fear, and resistance to make sure his daughter is healthy, safe, and has a future where she can thrive.
CAROLINE – Woman, 30-45, Asian or Latina. NICU nurse, and mother to 2 young children, she probably hasn’t slept more than 4 hours a night in a decade, but you’d never know it. Patient but firm, pragmatic, competent, confident, compassionate. She meets people where they are at and focuses on making information thorough and accessible.

DONGJUN YI – Young man, 19-21yo, Sophomore, Korean-American; broey and aggro

CHET “SEBI” SEBASTIAN – Young man, 19-21yo, Sophomore,  Filipino-American, Social Chair and Ravi’s “Big”; drinky partyboi. Crosses the line from posturing to actually destructive.

TIM IKEDA – Young man, 20/22yo, Junior, Japanese American; practical joker, funny but insecure.

QUAKER CHUNG – Young man, 21-23yo, Senior, Korean-American; thoughtful/sensitive/asthmatic. Tries to do the right thing, but just doesn’t have the influence to curb the group’s momentum.

BRADFORD QIAN – Young man, 21-23yo, Senior, Chinese-American; Frat leader and Hudson’s “Big.” Alternates between clear-headed and exasperated. He takes his role as leader seriously and buys what he’s selling. Also plays Hudson’s Mom.
