Profile Theatre and Portland area debut. George recently relocated to Portland after 30+ years in Seattle, with 20 of those years working in various capacities at Seattle Shakespeare Company. At SSC he was a teaching artist, Education Associate and, for 12 years, Artistic Director. He is also the founding Artistic Director of Wooden O, a free Shakespeare in the parks program started in 1994 (now a program of SSC). Acting credits include: Ford (Merry Wives), Jacques (As You Like It), Richard II, Dogberry (Much Ado), Malvolio (Twelfth Night), Hooks (Snow Falling on Cedars), George (Of Mice and Men) and Hamlet. Directing credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Comedy of Errors, The Rivals, Waiting for Godot, Shakespeare in Love, King Lear and The Tempest.
