COMMUNITY PROFILE – ASIAN AMERICAN, NATIVE HAWAIIAN, AND PACIFIC ISLANDER COHORT
1st Session Saturday, January 24th, 11am-2pm
In Collaboration with Theatre Diaspora!
In January 2026, we will launch two new Community Profile cohorts serving Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) and Trans/Nonbinary/Two-Spirit (Trans/NB/2S) people. The cohorts will have the opportunity to engage in community building sessions, writing workshops, theatre outings, artist happy hours, public readings, and more.
Community Profile runs through June, 2027. Participants are invited to come to as many or as few sessions as fit their schedule – no commitment necessary!
Meet Your Facilitator!
Samson Syharath(he/they), Laotian-American actor, director, writer, and educator who focuses on intercultural community events and learning. Samson will facilitate the AANHPI cohort and is the Co Artistic Director of Theatre Diaspora, a Theatre Communications Group Rising Leader of Color, and a Leslie O. Fulton Fellowship recipient.
